Frequently Asked Questions
Here are some answers to some of the questions we get asked.
When does the service start and how long does it last?
Our services start at 11:00am and finish around 12:30pm. Folks begin to gather from 10:30am as we have complimentary drinks available.
What should i wear?
The dress code is very informal! We have put a couple of pictures on this page so you can get a flavour of what it’s like.
What do i do when i arrive?
When you arrive you will be greeted by one of our Welcome team. They will give you one of our welcome packs and answer any questions you have. If you would like, they can show you around the building including where the children’s rooms and toilets are.
Can i take my children? will they be catered for?
Children are at the very heart of who we are as a church. Our children have a lot of freedom during the service especially during the initial time of singing (worship). Around 20 minutes into the service a notice will go up on the big screen informing the children it’s time for them to go their age specific teaching which happens in rooms just off the main hall. The children come back through to the main hall as the sermon (teaching) is finishing.
Do i need to be a christian?
Absolutely not! Our services are open to anyone regardless of where you are on your journey.
Do i need to give?
As a church we believe in giving and being generous. We take up an offering during our service however we would never want anyone to feel under pressure to give, especially if you are here for the first time.
Do i need a bible?
No you don’t need a bible, we have some available which you can take away. We have Wi-Fi throughout the building for those who use on-line bibles.
What about the sermon (teaching)?
A typical time of teaching will last about 30 minutes. The content and style is dependent on who the speaker is but we always try and build in a lot of practical application into our teaching. We want people to leave knowing what they should do as a result of what they have just heard. We also like to try and tackle real issues which people face.

What is the music (worship) like?
We would describe our style of worship as contemporary. Our band is made up of a variety of musicians including vocalists, guitarists, keyboard players, and drummers. We also recognise that worship comes in many forms so you may see someone dancing or waving flags during our worship time.
If i have a question who can i ask?
Our Welcome team is always available but any of the people you see speaking from the front or a part of the band are more than happy to help answer any questions you might have.
You can also contact us through the website or give us a call if you would like to ask something before you come along.
